Central Ashanti Gold Limited, which is currently developing a gold mine located near Ayanfuri, is inviting applications for the above position, from suitably qualified and experienced persons. The position is based in the Company's Ayanfuri Mine Site, reporting to the Payables Accountant. The purpose is to ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of suppliers, contractors, and other service providers invoices.

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
- To maintain an accurate invoice register
- To ensure timely processing of supplier invoices into the Pronto System
- To assist the Payables Accountant in ensuring prompt and accurate payment of suppliers for goods and services supplied in accordance with agreed payment terms
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and answer all their queries promptly
- Assist in ensuring suppliers balances are accurate in the payables ledger at all times
- Obtain supplier statements from suppliers to reconcile with ledger balances
Required Skills or Experience
- A university degree, its equivalent, or other relevant qualification
- Demonstrable knowledge and at least two years working experience in accounts payable
- Strong knowledge of Pronto software will be an advantage
- Effective English communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills
