Job Description

Panafrican Mining Services (Ghana) Limited, the authorized sole distributor of Komatsu equipment in Ghana is seeking to add to its team, highly experienced senior level staff to its operations in Ghana.

The role has the following responsibilities:

• Set up and provide product support to end users of the product lines
• Repair and maintenance of fleet of equipment owned by clients on regular basis and offer product support
• Coordinate with PSSR to track, follow-up and ensure the successful delivery of equipment and parts
• Direct procurement request to parts department for supplies and parts required to maintain automotive equipment, garage and storage facility
• The Service Manager would contribute to the development of Panafrican by organizing periodic training and refresher course for the mechanics to ensure that they are adequately equipped and motivated
• Prepare comprehensive report to clients whenever an assignment is completed
• Occasional visit to customer sites, as and when required to service machines
• Adherence to appropriate regulation and health and safety

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of first degree in mechanical engineering
• Specially trained by Komatsu in all aspects of Technical functions, operations, maintenance and repairs
• Certificate of proficiency from Komatsu Ltd or any of its renowned distributors would be an added advantage
• At least eight years experience or more, three of which should have bee in a Komatsu equipment servicing environment
• Proficiency in computer usage, especially Microsoft applications
• Ability to operate heavy duty equipment
• Possession of a valid driver's license as the role would require some level of travel
