MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - ELECRTRICAL & HVAC Ghana, TAX FREE Salary
Required: Maintenance Supervisor of Electrical & HVAC to work for a leading remote site service provider, in support of a current proposal and operational expansion. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Maintenance Supervisor of Electrical & HVAC for their operations in Ghana.
OBJECTIVE:
To manage all aspects of, Project specific Facilities and Maintenance Management covering Electrical & Air Conditioning. including developing systems and control measures, supervising TCN & Local Labour, ensuring effective operations, meeting KPI's, working within own and client HSE & other relevant policies and financial budgets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop the Facilities and Maintenance management program for preventative maintenance/repair of Electrical & Air Conditioning equipment in line with the overall company strategy, financial budget and contract specifications; employing industry best practices, and local regulatory requirements as specified by the Government/client/company.
* Develop and deploy an organizational structure of correctly qualified personnel to manage all resources required to meet contract specifications.
* Strategic planning of FM requirements, preparing budgets, planning resources and mitigating risks.
* Developments of FM training and development schedules to ensure personnel are qualified and current.
* Compilation of site FM performance reports/presentations and Internal Audits reporting findings internally and to clients.
* Controls, maintains, improves and disseminates company FM policies and procedures manuals.
* Imputing relevant Electrical & Air Conditioners assets onto database of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring liaison with External consultants and internal program management team if required.
* Manages the Fast Moving Maintenance Spares inventory to ensure sufficient stocks are maintained to meet predicted maintenance levels.
* Asset management for all client and Company Assets.
* Responsible for the preparation of security, crisis management and business continuity plans.
* Ensures all activities are conducted in line with all HSE and Quality Management Policies and procedures.
* Researches, prepares and produces technical tender proposals for new opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Would prefer Trade Qualified Electrician, who also holds Higher Certification or Degree Graduate.
* Has relevant experience also in Air Conditioning. RO Plant Electrical maintenance experience most advantageous
* Must be experienced and have worked internationally, remote sites experience would be preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in similar role, but must have a hands on attitude and be a Team Player
* Preferable experience of working on mine sites, in remote locations in Africa.
* A knowledge and working experience with ISO accreditations and HSE legislation.
* Strong Commercial, budgetary and ability to deliver training & FM education programmes
* Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English
