Kal Tire, the trading name for OTR Tyres (Ghana) Ltd, is part of the global Kaltire group providing tyre solutions for the mining industry in the following areas: Tyre Management Services, Tyre Fitting Services, Technical Consultancy, Re-tread Manufacturing, Mining Tyre Repair. In Ghana, we are the leading earthmover tyre management and service supplier employing over 100 staff across 8 locations.
We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Planner to deliver a total preventative maintenance programme that ensures a continuous service availability for each piece of equipment.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner:

- Planner service schedules, planned maintenance, spares and stock management
- Monitor the daily defect system
- Monitoring equipment budgets
- Implementation of an Asset Maintenance team training plan
- Produce a monthly defect report
- Implementation of agreed KPI delivery to internal (operations) and external customers
- Responsibility for the Tarkwa Asset Maintenance workshop and stores

Required Skills or Experience
The ideal candidate must have:
- High level of vehicle knowledge on both Heavy Goods and Light Vehicles
- Power take off systems
- Hydraulics system
- Compressor systems
- Lorry mounted crane with integrated remote control systems Driving Licence Category - F
- Competent in MS Office software
- Minimum 1 year experience work in a mining or related industrial operation
