GHANA INVESTMEN PROMOTION LATEST JOB VACANCY FOR AUDITOR

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) invites applications fro a suitable qualified Internal Auditor to manage its Internal Audit Unit

• Design and implement internal audit policies as approved by Management or the Board of Directors of the Centre
• Ensure that financial information produced is reliable
• Fulfill Board of Directors’ and Management’s audit requests
• Monitor economic and efficient use of the Center’s financial resource
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws and financial regulations
• Advise staff of the Finance and Accounts Department on the auditing requirements of the Centre
• Investigate and report on any irregularities in the financial management of the Centre
• Liaise with the external Auditors on general audit requirements and assist them in their task
• Audit all financial payments to ensure proper authorizations have been secured and that the rules and regulations have been followed

Required Skills/ Job Experience:

• Must hold either B.Sc. Admin (Accounting Option) Degree from a recognised University with at least 8 years post graduation experience out of which at least 5 years should be in the field of Auditing; or
• Must have obtained the final certificate of an Accounting body with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in Auditing
• Must be computer literate
• A Master’s Degree in Business Administration-Accounting and Finance would be an added advantage
